PATH's Tyler Community Homes is a not-for-profit organization that operates through the generous donations of money and volunteer time from individuals and organizations in the Tyler area.
Low Cost Rental Housing
The availability of decent, affordable housing is one of the most critical social issues facing the Smith County community today. Tyler Community Homes currently manages 47 rental properties.
Rental Statistics:
- More than 60% of Tyler Community Homes families fall below the "very low income" level
- Average income of Tyler Community Homes families falls below $20,000.
- More than half of Tyler Community Homes' residents are female heads of household
