PATH has grown for 25 years to meet the needs of the poorest in our community. Often we serve families caught in the cycle of poverty – living in Generational Poverty. During this weakened economy, PATH is serving more and more people facing Situational Poverty. Families living paycheck to paycheck, regardless of wages, are one paycheck, one illness, one accident away from poverty.
It has been our community, our neighbors in Smith County, that have enabled PATH to continue to help those in need. Individuals, family foundations, and congregations make up 99% of our donors. Our resources are: 1-Prayer, 2-Monetary contributions, 3-In-kind contributions, and 4-Volunteer time.
16 employees and more than 400 volunteers work at PATH to help bring relief from poverty and hope for a brighter future. Please consider making a commitment to help those in need to find their own way.
The value of cash and in-kind contributions make up 96 cents out of every dollar that is invested in direct client services. 4 cents out of every dollar in spent in running the organization.

PATH served about 30,000 families last year alone. We continue to meet emergency needs and work with individuals to help them move past crisis into stability by offering assistance with food, utilities, mortgage and rent, building more affordable housing and organizing neighborhoods to unite for common issues.

No Go Gala
Our No Go Gala is our annual fundraising gala that never happens. We will send out invitations requiring that you don’t buy a new outfit and telling you not to bother to come. It’s easy and requires very little effort on your part. The non-event is scheduled in the spring.

Vehicle Donations
Dispose of your unwanted cars and trucks while getting a tax deduction and providing PATH with additional income to support programs.
Does your old car or truck look like a tax deduction? Donate it to PATH and you will receive a receipt for the retail value of the vehicle. PATH will receive 100% of the auctioned sale price.
